Exhibition night. Formalwear, high chins, champagne flutes in hand, and classical music playing softly in the background surround you. Before your very eyes, the formal suits change colours, and paint brushes replace the champagne flutes. Chins are lowered and eyes begin to scintillate. You have now become part of the artwork.
“La Galerie” is a contemporary circus show that will immerse the audience in a fleeting canvas, where the boundaries between what is art and what is not become blurred, deformed.
Under the leadership of stage director Olivier Lépine, seven world-class circus artists and a multi-instrumentalist will pull out all the stops to thrill audiences with Russian bar, teeterboard, hand-to-hand, juggling and high-flying acrobatic acts.
Creation is currently underway. “La Galerie” will be available as of June 2019.▼
